This weekend I went on a little desert shoot. Because of all the rain we've been having the ground was so green. You can see that in some of these photos.

The Italian Beatles
My wife and met these four Italian gents on the famous Abby Road crosswalk in London. As they crossed the street I snapped this image without their knowledge. Needless to say once I showed them the photo they were very excited. We shared emails and I sent them all this final version.

Ozzy
Well, I finally got to meet Ozzy. Albeit a quick meeting, it was a meeting. He was signing his book at Changing Hands Bookstore in Tempe. This is a shot of him signing my copy.

Stunning Family
You always know you're going to enjoy a photo session when the family is as good looking as this family is. You'd be hard pressed to find two kids that enjoy having their picture taken as much as these two did on this day. I feel these photos really capture their comfort level with the lens. Beautiful family indeed!
Beautiful Family at Sunset
Because it rained all day this shoot almost didn't happen. I knew though that if the clouds cleared up just enough that it could potentially make for a beautiful sunset photo shoot. I scoped out a few different locations to shoot from where the ground levels were balanced just right for capturing both this gorgeous family as well as what turned out to be one of the most amazing sunsets of the year. I am so happy with how these turned out.
This shot is fun because it was at the end of the shoot where we were all sort of just walking back to gather our things to leave. I decided to take a few more shots with them walking towards me as I walked backwards. This particular shot turned out so natural. It really captures the spirt of the entire shoot. Plus, it almost has a Hollywood feel with the lighting rig flash captured in the shot to the left.

Reed Studio: Black & White Photography
I launched this site last year to showcase some of my favorite photos in glorious black and white. I also have a link for it to the right. Check it out here often as I'll be adding to it every few days.
Lookout Studio at Sunset
Lookout Studio was built on the edge of the Grand Canyon's South Rim in 1914. The building was designed by Mary Colter.

In Bloom
I don't remember ever seeing these trees bloom like this before this year. Now I'm seeing them everywhere.

Gibson Ads
So I got some concert shots off at the Viper Room in Hollywood, CA last July and decided to turn them into a series of Gibson adverts. Gilby Clarke from Guns N Roses fame and Stevy Pyne from Semi Precious Weapons are the guitarists in the photos. The last photo is my Les Paul.
Tree Row
I love how compressed this image is. From the first tree to the last is probably around 300 yards. The color turned out great too.
